The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was ranked No. 1 on the Kiplinger's Personal Finance's list of 100 best values in public colleges for 2013-2014, followed by the University of Virginia in 2nd place and the University of Florida (UF) in 3rd place. UF has been among Kiplinger's top 10 best values in public colleges since 2005, ranking No. 2 from that year until 2012.
